Fields of Cotton

This painting of Alabama cotton fields was done from a photo taken late last summer and, though the painting recently sold, I wanted to post it because it makes me think of the lyrics to the song "Summertime" - "Summertime and the living is easy; fish are jumping and the cotton is high"!
