This little tiny painting (about 4"x4") will be on display at the Homewood Small Works Show in Birmingham - the show opens on Friday, 9/24. I can't wait to see this show because I love small works of art. They just draw you in! This was a lot of fun to paint. Painted in oil on Masonite which I love to do because the paint just glides on the surface. I did it from a photo taken at St. Simon's Island, Georgia.

What excellent shapes, colors and composition - all in a 4x4? Very cool.
Thanks, Regina! It was itty-bitty! And a lot of fun to paint! I think I'm going to try it out on a larger scale.
