Autumn Days

It's been a long time since I posted on my blog, but I'm back!

I've been painting, just really, really busy and not posting on the blog.

This collage is made up of some of my favorite fall-themed paintings.  I love everything about autumn and wish so badly we had a longer season down here in the South.  I try to cherish every day of it!

When I count my blessings, I am amazed at how many there are! Big & small, simple & luxurious - sometimes those blessings don't even look like blessings at all! What a year I've had and I look forward to the day when I gather with my family and thank the One from Whom they come! Happy Thanksgiving, my friends! May you all have a blessed holiday season!

A summertime painting entitled "Curb Market Color", but I wanted to post it now because it embodies so much of what I'm thankful for! The beauty and bounty of the earth, food on our table, jobs, our country, the seasons. Our curb market is so full of memories for me, too - trips with my grandparents, my mother, my sisters - such happy times!
