Happy Valentines Day!! I painted this at Nan Cunningham's studio this past Wednesday - what fun!! Check out her website! If you haven't been, I highly recommend it for a memorable time. My husband went with me and painted one, too! If he gives me permission :), I'll post his!

Many Mansions *SOLD*

Billowy clouds most often make me think of Heaven. I painted this shortly after the death of my dear Aunt Mim last month. She has a home in one of the many mansions and that gives me great comfort ... and comfort to know that a place is prepared for me, too!

I love Valentines Day! It's my birthday, but I think I would love it anyway even if it weren't! Remember the way Valentine candy boxes used to be - loaded with lace and flowers - the drugstore aisles were a sea of pink and red and white fluff? I loved even the tacky ones. Here's a little reminder of a sweet Valentine simplicity - conversation hearts. Painted a few years ago, the hearts I picked at random just happened to say "Get Real, My Boy".
