Just a note to say that this painting, "Cicada's Song", is currently on exhibit at the Alabama State Council on the Arts Gallery! The gallery is located on the first floor of the RSA/Regions Tower in downtown Montgomery and the exhibit will be open until mid-March. I hope you can stop in if you are in the area! The painting was done of a location near Marler Road/Highway 80 in East Montgomery County. I hope it captures the feel of the late summer evening that it was and maybe you can hear the cicadas even on this cold night in January!
