"Bread and Butter!"....it's what my aunt always said if we were walking together and something blocked our path causing us to separate or let go of each others' hands. The old superstition says if you say "bread and butter", you and the one you're walking with will never be apart.

 

 Famous Couple #4...Bread and Butter....may they always stay together no matter what threatens to come between them! ;)

Today's painting really helped me with a few personal goals that I have during the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge: painting glass and painting reflective surfaces.  Boy, silver things are really hard.  You really have to tell yourself over and over "it's not gray!", "it's reflecting stuff around it", "what color do you REALLY see?". 

 

Another challenge for today....simple things are very often hard to compose.
